These are not the incidents of our lives that shape us

"These are not the incidents of our lives that shape us, but our assumptions as those occurrences mean." ~ Tony Robin
Is there someone in your past who inspired you to become the person you are today? For me, he was my grand father. But the thing that I admired most was his character. My grandfather was always satisfied with life, regardless of their circumstances. He gave priority to the leadership of the servant and measured his self-worth on the basis of serving others.
My grandfather believed that serving people was a part of being in a relationship with him. And he understood that the service comes in many forms, including simple everyday moments What I learned from my grandfather on that day is to be eager about people, especially about those who look different. He was fascinated by these differences and wanted to know what inspiration he got and what he dreamed. He aimed to see his soul.
The interesting thing about allowing vulnerability, accepting help and allowing yourself to learn from others is that it really is an act of service. Opening yourself in this way allows you to allow someone else to fully feel and use your gifts. My grandfather was a wise man he is no longer but he is always with me..
